Jason joined Nvelop as Vice President of Technology Development in June of 2022. He brings almost 20 years of experience in research, development, technical operations, and CMC at public and private biotechnology companies. Prior to Nvelop, Jason was Sr. Director of Development at Oncorus, leading process and analytical development for Oncorus’ oncolytic virus technology platforms. Prior to Oncorus, he served as Director of Process Development for Elektrofi, a biotechnology company focused on protein microparticle drug delivery. Jason previously held technical leadership roles at Moderna, where he focused on the development and manufacture of Moderna’s individualized neoantigen therapy, mRNA-4157. Prior to Moderna, Jason was an early employee at BIND Therapeutics (sold to Pfizer), contributing to the research and development of their targeted polymeric nanoparticle drug delivery platform.
Jason received his B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Jason is cited as an inventor on several patents in the polymeric nanoparticle, lipid nanoparticle, and therapeutic protein drug delivery fields.
